Alvaro Laiz at PhotoEspaña 2024

Alvaro Laiz, collaborating artist at Freijo Gallery, will have his project The Edge, presented at the gallery back in 2022, included in the Perpetuum mobile exhibition during PhotoEspaña 2024.
Perpetuum mobile, curated by Alejandro Castellote, proposes an open structure, a sort of garden of species, which illustrates this widening of the limits of photographic creation and the incessant mutations that have been transforming the foundational status of the medium over almost two centuries: the mimesis of reality.
On view until the 1st of September 2024 at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid.
