Mar Solís at Círculo de Bellas Artes
November 15, 2025
Artist Mar Solís will play a significant role in the Bienal Ciudad y Ciencia held at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid.
On the 18th of November at 8:00 pm, Mar Solís will inaugurate the exhibition Origen. El Círculo en transformación (Origin. The Circle in Transformation), curated by Lorena Martínez de Corral. The exhibition is a travelling version of the project that was presented at CentroCentro between February and June of this year, and proposes a reflection on the processes of change, energy and natural balance through the shape of the circle. It will be open to the public until 23rd November. As part of the exhibition, the artist will be giving daily guided tours.*
Also as part of the Biennial, Solís will participate on the 22nd of November at 6:00 p.m. in the round table discussion Making the Invisible Visible: Science and Art in Dialogue, together with Elisa Garrido Moreno, PhD in Art History and Theory; Gustavo Ariel Schwartz, Argentine physicist, writer, and communicator; and Alfredo Miralles Benito, artist, cultural manager, and teacher. The event will explore the boundaries and apparent and unapparent relationships between art and science.
