Concha Jerez at MUSAC
February 24, 2026
The exhibition “¿No hay nada como el hogar? Colección MUSAC” (Is there no place like home? MUSAC Collection) opens at the MUSAC (Museum of Contemporary Art of Castilla y León), featuring artist Concha Jerez with her work A la búsqueda del oasis Ítaca (En memoria de + 98 inmigrantes muertos) (In search of the Ithaca oasis [In memory of + 98 dead immigrants]).
Curated by Monserrat Pis Marcos, the show explores the concept of home as a multifaceted and unstable reality, shaped by cultural expectations, emotional experiences, and social conditions. Through works in diverse media, the exhibition offers a pluralistic approach to the concept: the dreamed home, the tangible, and the symbolic; the hostile, the fragile, or the inaccessible.
The exhibition will open on February 28 at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Castilla and León (Av. de los Reyes Leoneses 24, 24008, León) and will remain on view until February 7, 2027.
