Gina Arizpe's exhibition at the MEIAC is extended

The exhibition “Lo que no se ve” (What cannot be seen) by Mexican artist Gina Arizpe will be extended until April the 19th, 2026. Opened on October 17th, 2025, at the Museo Extremeño e Iberoamericano de Arte Contemporáneo (MEIAC), the exhibition offers a critical reflection on the multiple forms of violence, invisibility, and inequality that continue to affect women in different contexts around the world.

A catalogue of the exhibition will be published to complement the project as a research and memory tool, bringing together images of the works, texts, and materials that contextualize the artist's work and the conceptual pillars of the exhibition. This publication will be presented soon at the gallery, on a date to be announced later.
