Concha Jerez in CANARIAS7

May 20, 2020

Concha Jerez, winner of the 2015 National Plastic Arts Award, talks to CANARIAS7, showing her discontent regarding the measures proposed by the Spanish Ministry of Culture to reactivate culture. She has signed a protest letter that a group of prominent artists has sent to the Executive, led by Pedro Sánchez.

According to her, "the art that is made today is the heritage of tomorrow. With these measures what happens is that there will be artistic silence during all these years".

The work of this artist will soon be added to the virtual exhibition of Freijo Gallery So far, so close
