Ramón Mateos, residency at Buenos Aires

Artist Ramón Mateos is currently participating in an artist residency at Azotea, an artist-run space in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Mateos, whose artistic practice is characterized by a radical examination of the intersections between geopolitics, economics, and contemporary apparatuses of representation, is part of Azotea’s Studio Program.

During this residency, he will explore the relationship between self-management strategies, the crisis of institutional models, and ways of producing and researching from the margins of the corporate world.
