Bartolomé Ferrando presents new book and gives workshop in Bilbao
February 18, 2026
On February 27th and 28th, Bartolomé Ferrando will participate in a book presentation and a phonetic-sound poetry workshop at enAIRA Espazioa, in Bilbao.
Phonetic-sound poetry is an intermediate art form, a synthesis between words and music that can appeal to audiences in any country. The fragmentation of language, the rejection of logic and established rules, as well as individual and collective practices—including the use of the body—generate intense emotional reactions.
In this context, Bartolomé Ferrando presents his book Hay ramas de donde cuelga el aire (There are branches from which the air hangs), a selection of poetic images with a sound dimension, accompanied by Juanje Sanz.
The presentation will take place on February 27, at 7:30 p.m.
The following day, Saturday, February 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the artist will give a workshop on phonetic-sound poetry. Places are limited (12 participants) and the price is 60 €.
