Rocío Garriga’s “Verse expuest_” Sparks Interest in the Press

The exhibition “Verse expuest_” by Rocío Garriga, opened on July 2 at the Centre del Carme Cultura Contemporània (CCCC) in Valencia, has received extensive coverage from the press and media outlets specializing in art and culture.

Publications such as ABC, MAKMA, Levante-EMV, Culturplaza, Valencia News, Es Diario, València Extra, Verlanga, Vivir Ediciones, El Periòdic, and Agenda Urbana Valencia, among others, have published articles and reviews of the exhibition, which showcases Garriga’s research into the bombing of the Hamburg Zoo during World War II and her reflections on vulnerability and violence.

The reviews highlight the artist’s ability to translate a historical episode into thoroughly contemporary issues, addressing themes such as the display of bodies, the fragility shared by humans and animals, and the mechanisms of observation, classification, and control that are prevalent in our society.
