José Iges presents "Viaje Inmóvil (Immobile Journey)" en Cineteca Matadero

The second session of the cycle "Desvíos sónicos: Encuentros con José Iges (Sonic Detours: Encounters with José Iges)" will take place next Thursday 15 February at the Cineteca Matadero (Madrid), at 7 p.m., under the title "Viaje inmóvil (Immobile Journey)".
In this journey - immobile only in terms of our physical movement of translation - the audience will go from one place and time to another thanks to the selected works. As in the previous session, there will be a certain visuality, provided in this case by the mix of the selected works in the Logic X sound editor, which can be seen on screen at all times.
The works gathered here could more or less form part of what has come to be called Sound Landscapes, which constitutes a rich panorama full of variants of sound art, which has given palpable results from radio art to concerts or installations. In short, in the examples that will arrive, we will also be faced with an expansion of the original notion of soundscape that arose in the 1970s from the notion of Sound Ecology, thanks to the work of the Canadian researcher and composer Raymond Murray Schafer.
