Lauren Moffat in Dublin and Bari | International exhibitions
October 18, 2025
Artist Lauren Moffatt is featured in two international exhibitions in Ireland and Italy.
On October 12th, the exhibition Dove non siamo Stati (Where We Have Not Been), curated by Guiliana Schiavone, opened at the Museo Archeologico di Santa Scolatica in Bari, Italy. The exhibition presents the work of 24 artists who reflect on the concept of the trace, understood as a mark, memory and passage. Based on this central concept, the exhibition seeks to establish a dialogue between contemporary art and archaeology, taking the building that is home to the Italian museum as its starting point . As part of the exhibition, Lauren Moffatt presents Works from the Flowers for Suzanne Clair: Compost series, a work composed of a video and an augmented reality piece. The exhibition will be open to the public at the Museum (Via Venezia, 73, 70122 Bari BA, Italy) between 12th October and 31st December 2025.
Our artist will also be featured at the BETA Festival in Dublin. This edition of the art and technology festival seeks to explore ideas of fluidity in water, language, information, and quantum states through exhibitions, events, and conferences. Lauren Moffatt is participating in the group exhibition Undercurrent: As Below, So Above with her immersive work Chorcorallium, which submerges visitors in speculative reef ecologies where industrial waste becomes the basis for an imaginary coral life, shaped by collective voices and artificial intelligence. The festival will take place between 7 and 23 November 2025, and the exhibition will be open to visitors at The Substation in Dublin Port (Alexandra Rd, North Wall, Dublin, Ireland) from Wednesday to Sunday within the framework of the festival.
