Freijo Gallery is pleased to announce that our artist, Águeda de la Pisa, will participate in the exhibition:

The Aesthetic Transition: Spain (1960–2020)

with her historic work, Red and Black, 1983.

The exhibition at the Juan March Foundation in Madrid, curated by José María Parreño, Gérmán Labrador Méndez, and Manuel Fontán del Junco, will run from October 16, 2026, to January 10, 2027.

The exhibition offers a journey through the reception of modern and contemporary art in Spain from the 1960s to the present, through a selection of works that trace the evolution of exhibitions, institutions, and initiatives that helped shape and transform the Spanish art scene.
