“Pentagrama. Leo Matiz"
Vintage photographs by this renowned Colombian photographer, who exhibited his work at MoMA during his lifetime. The theme chosen by us was music, presenting portraits, partly unpublished, of anonymous and well-known musicians in Latin America. The museography, in the form of an imaginary pentagram, places the works as notes that make up a "vallenato", which can be heard in the room, created by a Colombian musician, in homage to Leo Matiz. (With a catalogue published by Freijo Gallery, it contains an introduction by the critic Juan Angel Vela del Campo. In collaboration with the Leo Matiz Foundation, and as part of the off festival of galleries PHE12)
