Roberto Fernandez Balbuena & Armando Salas Portugal

from May 24, 2024 to July 13, 2024

Freijo Gallery presents two unique views of Mexico in the mid-20th century, in black and white. An exhibition that brings us closer to the hyperbolic paraboloid architecture of Félix Candela through the lens of Armando Salas Portugal, and to Mexican nature from the perspective of Roberto Fernández Balbuena, painter and architect, who was deputy director of the Museo Del Prado during the Republic, on his walks with Juan Rulfo during the 1940s.
