Felipe Ehrenberg, from the realm of dreams

Felipe Ehrenberg

from March 20, 2026 to May 23, 2026

Freijo Gallery presents Felipe Ehrenberg's third solo exhibition in Madrid, Felipe Ehrenberg, from the realm of dreams.

This exhibition features installations that have never been shown before and were part of the legendary exhibition Pretérito Imperfecto, presented at the Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil, Mexico City, in 1992 and 1993.

The exhibition is accompanied by the interview “Once upon a time, an artist's book was born,” conducted by Angustias Freijo in December 2016 with Felipe Ehrenberg while the artist was undergoing cancer treatment. This conversation, considered the last interview given by the artist, was later published in the book TEXT [NO TEXT] Llibres i Publicacions d'Artista, edited by the Universitat de València and the Universitat Politécnica de València, as a part of this exhibition, curated by Antonio Alcaraz.
