Concha Prada

Born in Zamora, Spain, 1963
Lives and works in Valencia, Spain.

She began her career in the art world by the hand of  Temple Gallery. She has worked with the Oliva Arauna Gallery in Madrid and the Tomás March Gallery in Valencia.  

Her work has been exhibited at international fairs such as Art Basel, Paris Photo, ARCO Madrid or Artissima in Turin. Her work is present in important collections such as Goldman Sachs, Vitoria Museum of Contemporary Art and the Reina Sofía National Center of Art (MNCARS).

In 2004 she made the series "Powders", in which she hade use of microscopes this time in order to approach in an unusual way something that is very close to us: house dust.

In 2019, her solo exhibition "Domestic Actions" took place at the Freijo Gallery in Madrid, as part of the LZ46 program.
